Kim Kardashian Takes Ripped Jeans to a New Extreme

 

Like so many trends from the Y2K era over the past few years, skinny jeans are back in style in full swing. Last year’s ragged, ripped denim pieces, once favored by Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Beyoncé, have been spotted on everyone from Bella Hadid to Katie Holmes. (They’re also returning to the runway more and more, appearing everywhere from Berlin’s hit brand Ottolinger to Chanel.)
Never miss the on-trend white, Kim Kardashian’s latest look shows she’s wearing a drab denim shirt again — but with her inimitable style, she’s created a new look. the change is even more extreme. Dressed in a piece from French designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s spring 2022 collection, Kardashian rocked the chic Y2K set with a Christina Aguilera Dirrty lace crotch and slits that ran from the waist to the waist. Pants’ heel attached. (Are they chaps? Pants? Boots? Chapoots? We’ll let you decide on that.)
“Talk less, talk more,” she captioned the post — but if there’s one thing that Kardashian’s wide-leg pants are guaranteed to do, it’s what gets people talking.

Its inseam length is normally about 9 to 10 inches. I’m in my 50s and prefer to wear shorts that are Bermuda length and fall right above my knee.
